Mumbai on High Alert Following Anonymous Bomb Threat Message

Published:

The Mumbai Traffic Control Room received a bomb threat via text, with an unknown person claiming bombs are placed at six locations in Mumbai.

The Mumbai police have initiated a probe to trace the sender, and security agencies are on high alert.

Last month, a similar threat via email claimed bombs at eleven places, demanding the resignation of RBI’s Governor Shaktikanta Das and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. It turned out to be a hoax, and three individuals were arrested in Gujarat in connection with the false alarm.
